Experiment 3
First I drew some images of paisley patterns.
I then scanned them, and placed them into photoshop. I made the images threshold so that they were black and white (two colours). This screenshot shows me copying part of the pattern which I then used in the next stage.
This is the final placement of my design. I cropped out the drawn designs I wanted to include and placed them into my design to fit together.
As I had edited the designs to be threshold, it made it easier to change the background into pink and the patterns into white.
I then experimented with the colours and decided to include a gradient from white to blue in the pattern.

Experiment 2
This is the original photograph I took for my graphics project, applying the makeup I wanted to fit the theme and to help me later on in the project.
I edited the photograph on photoshop. I kept the colour of her eyes and lips the same, and made the rest of the photo black and white, with no background.
To fit it into the CD cover design, I added a rose which I had already drawn and edited to create a full repeated pattern for the background.
I deleted the waste part of the background by making the the image transparent so that I could see the guideline and know where and what waste needed to be erased.
I then made the opacity 100% and adjusted the placement of the image to complete the experiment.

Experiment 1
I simply drew and coloured a female with a style and image I wanted to give my artist.
I then edited this in photoshop to bring an element of the 'funfair' theme. To do this i made my artist into a cartoon figure and added balloons and cotton candy which are structured with slightly opaque circles.
I then added the image to a CD template and edited it to fit the size, shape and colour scheme of the cover.
